Concrete color in the mix or on top.

Put the color in the concrete if it chips it will still have the color and wont look as bad. I hear this a lot. I.M.O. If it chips it its still going to look bad either way colored or not. Patch is a patch and some guys are great at it. I.m.o. Putting the color in the mix is for a nice colored flat look. Putting the color on top, a color hardener stains the top surface with colored concrete. Adding the second color or color release Must have sealer or whats the point you will lose all that color over time. Adding the extra colors also takes yearly clean and sealing.
